My daughter had races in Chamonix, Les Houches and Mageve and this hotel is an ideal location for all of these ski hills. It is stylish, clean, friendly family run place with parking, a fantastic restaurant, good breakfast and everything you could want for your ski vacation. As a mom of a ski racer, I’m picky. The building is a bit dated due to being in business for over 100 years by the same family, but don’t let that turn you away. "Absolute highlight on a trip full of them was our stay at the Armancette. Good-sized, clean and nicely appointed room. Staff was SPECTACULAR, attentive and helpful in every way in getting out to the ski slopes and to area restaurants at night. "Very quaint and homey, perfect for two travelers looking for a cheap stay near the Chamonix area. Fabienne and the rest of the staff were kind and accommodating, evidenced by them working with us when we encountered bus and flight delays. Rooms were cleaned daily. Additionally, you have the option to pay the first day you arrive or the last (if you plan on taking advantage of the hotel breakfast, it’s easier to pay upon checking out). Would stay again if we decide to journey out to Chamonix....
