"This was a small, quaint hotel. It was fairly newly renovated. Very comfortable. It was located in a great location in the Copley Square area. Within walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants. Walk to the Boston Public Library, Fenway Park, Boston Common, subway station. We had a great time in Boston because of the hotel and proximity to everything."
"The location of this hotel is its biggest asset. The North End, the Garden, and Downtown are within an easy walk. Surprisingly they have no parking lot or contract with any of the nearby garages. I parked out in front of the hotel every night, didn't pay the meter, and only received one $40 tickets during my stay. It is cheaper to pay for a parking ticket there than it is to park somewhere. I would recommend not paying for parking, just park out front and wing it. The rooms are small yet clean...
"The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel building itself is very beautiful. Our room left a lot to be desired and because of this I would hesitate to stay here again. Our shower / tub combo would not drain after I showered. We were so exhausted from a long haul flight that we did not bother to call down to have it fixed.
