"A clean basic overnight stay. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The restaurant attached was excellent . Fantastic burgers and a great breakfast. We would stay again."

"The bar area and restaurant were very nice although we ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was good but we felt rushed and I ordered a glass of rose which was warm. We felt the bedrooms were very outdated, the beds were very hard, lumpy and too low. The lighting in the bedroom by the desk/dressing table was non existent. The room was cleaned but we were not given any toilet roll."

"A good overnight stop on our journey to the south coast! Very friendly staff in the bar welcomed us, and were extremely helpful. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms. A good choice of decent meals on the bar menu available in the pub, so convenient not having to dine elsewhere. Excellent value, and both the evening and morning staff were great. Yes, a bit of road noise, and extractor noise heard in our 2 rooms, but we are used to silent nights living in a rural location!"

"The communication was terrible, we only got the code for the apartment access after we called the owner a few times. Even after he had picked up and said he was sending it, he still didn’t and we had to call him back again. This was all last minute. We had originally booked to stay in the bigger apartment but the owner sent a message on the app to say he had double booked us and were we happy to stay in a smaller apartment with a shared kitchen rather than a private one. "Clean room. Good location. First trip with baby and none of the requests through the app were seen or attended to. Ended up changing room because room was set up wrong. Cot finally brought had no matter so had to cosleep"

"In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though."
