"We liked that the hotel is literally on the beach. Take some stairs down and you’re there. We liked the corn hole and fire pits with chairs right outside the rooms. We didn’t like how the pool was under renovation but we weren’t told before booking. The website said it til June 1, but they were still renovating so we heard loud drill noises while in our room. "

"It's a clean property. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Included breakfast was nicely done and provided good value for a simple hotel. Staff was courtesy. It was pretty noisy. Maybe understandably since there were alot of families with kids. My room faced the pool and alot of screaming families at the pool til late at night and screaming again starting at 7AM. Since I was a solo traveler I should have asked for a room facing the front of hotel versus the pool for this reason. "

"Totally fine place to stay in PG. got a cottage and was under the impression at booking that there would be a separate bedroom but it was just one open room. Had 3 adults, one baby, and a dog - enough space for all of us including travel crib. Very clean, basic room furnishings and kitchenette. Tiny dog park on site. Quiet. "

"This is a beautiful property, one block from the ocean. It is a walkable area, with Uber as an option. The house was beautiful, and our cottage was nice. The mattress needs replaced, as there was not much support. The staff were friendly. I would stay here again. "

"The property is very nice, parking was plentiful. It’s an older house that has been well maintained. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Check in is via key code and there was no issue. I can’t really give more than four stars regarding staff and service as I had no physical experience with any of the staff. We would stay here again "

"This property was a delightful find. It was a clean, well cared for, and appear to be recently remodeled property. Our room was clean and minimally decorated but had everything that we needed. Beds were not terrible. The the location was good, it was easy to get to the beach, easy to get to somewhere to eat, and there was a grocery store nearby. For the price it was a great little hotel."

"The location it's an old Howard Johnson. The staff did everything we asked and supplied us with very nice take-out breakfast. It's conveniently located. I would recommend this hotel to people who aren't looking for a fancy place but conveniently located. It's not far from the airport at Monterey Bay, City of Carmel, 17 miles, etc."
