Slottet er under renovering, og man fornemmer at de nye ejere gør meget ud af, at alle detaljer er perfekte. Den værelsesfløj vi boede i var færdigrenoveret, og værelset var meget stort og velindrettet med sans for de små detaljer. Til værelset var der en terrasse med udsigt over søen. "This was a unique stay that we enjoyed. The castle is still a work in progress so there is construction on the outside going on, but the price for a unique stay was good. We had a lovely room with water, monster drinks (that was different) fruit and treats provided. The bathroom is outside of the room. Good size room and bed Very nice impressive breakfast that included large rolled oats and loads of other cereals. Very good hot selection, pastry etc. might be the best breakfast I’ve ever had in hotel. Staff typically German, a bit cold."

"Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the arrival hall. Room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice except that the water still feels cold despite it being heated. Overall a comfortable place to rest and recover from jet lag before traveling on for the holidays."

"Check in was pretty smooth. We arrived early and the room was not yet ready, but it was ready earlier than the 3 pm time. The room was clean and well organized. We got the loft suite and the sofa bed was made up for our kids right away. The room was pretty tight for space unfortunately, but it may be expected given the central location of the hotel. The AC was a bit weak and the room was often on the warm side until it was dark outside. We appreciated the two bathrooms a lot. The pool looked quite nice but we didn’t have the time to try it. Overall a pleasant stay. 😊"

"Everything was great. This was our second time staying here due to the helpfulness of staff and the great location. The only issue I had this time was a malfunctioning public toilet in the back of the main area near the orders train bridge that made walking through there so, so awful. Luckily, going that way isn’t necessary, but it still probably should have been addressed before it got to that state. Still, I understand not everything can be controlled, and everything else about our trip was perfect. I will return here when I am in Cologne again."
