The best part about the hotel is the convenience of the location (and the great view). As a solo traveler, the size of the room was fine, and I didn’t mind that only a curtain separated the shower from the rest of the room.
However, what I did mind was the size of the pillows - half the width of a regular pillow and so soft they essentially collapsed as soon as your head touched hit them. The water pressure is also awful - the tap in my bathroom produced only boiling water and the temperature for the shower was either scalding or freezing.
The worst part about the hotel is the fact that guests can do seemingly whatever they like, with no repercussions. I stayed here for 3 nights and every night was kept awake for hours on end by doors slamming, people shouting in the corridors, and rave-like music being blasted from my neighbours above. I don’t think I slept more than 4 hours. Only on one occasion did security come to tell people to be quiet (and that was at 6am - far too late to make a difference).
I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning. This hotel looks good, but unfortunately looks can be very deceiving.
