The gentleman who runs it was incredibly kind, the room darling, the decor and details storybook like and breakfast one of the best continental you’ll find, making it a perfect spot to stay while I waited for my ferry the next day. I’m staying again this coming week. It is by far the best hotel in the area."

"No notice when booking that the pool was closed. No notice from the staff at check in that the pool was closed. The only sign that the pool was closed was by the door to it."

"Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly. Front office staff were very helpful , friendly, and courteous. Answered all our questions. Continental breakfast was good with a good selection of food. Serving area was kept clean and food was replenished as needed. Loved the maple syrup that was served."

"Loved, loved, loved it! Right downtown Camden. We walked to the Grand Harbor Inn for supper looking over the harbor then on to the Camden Cove for Ice Cream. We walked back licking our ice cream cones. The unit was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the shower was hot! We had a continental breakfast the next morning in the kitchen (avocado toast) while chatting with another guest. We totally recommend this place!"

"This was exactly what we needed on our drive up to Acadia National Park. A clean, non-expensive hotel room to stay the night. We got delayed on our trip and the office left instructions on how to get the keys and get into our rooms, including a well drawn map. I'm taking off 1 star simply b/c there were only 2 towels in each room even though the reservation had 4 people in each room. I'm sure Hotels put 2 towels in each room as they turn them over, but it's a pet peeve of mine that someone...

"I’ve stayed here multiple times and always had a great experience — the location alone keeps me coming back. That’s what made this visit so disappointing. The floor in our room was visibly dirty. My daughter walked barefoot and her feet were black. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in some time. Boothbay has limited affordable options, and this place has real potential. But cleanliness isn’t a luxury — it’s a baseline. I hope management takes this seriously, because I’d genuinely like to...

"Room was clean, view was really great, bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom was very small and cramped with sink area open to room. Parking area in need of work, paving and organization. Office closing at 8:00 PM a little concerning but after hour access provided was acceptable. "

"Great location and good for a couple of days. No fridge, coffee pot or mirowave in rooms. Cute decorations with storage space and very good lighting. Coffee/tea in office opens at 8AM closes at 4PM. Good hot water and comfy beds, all you need in Boothbay, you want to be out exploring."
