Nice room. Roku tv. Good internet. King size bed was a tad soft for my taste but comfy. Had a partial ocean view. Nice pool with hot tub and sauna. Gym had a lot of equipment. Beautiful lobby with coffee shop. Rockland is walkable from hotel. Lots of good food. We took ferry to Vinal Island for a day trip. Only 15 dollars round trip. We stayed in early march so was off season. I recomend this hotel.

Great room.Great location. Pleasant staff. Wonderful pool cleaning attendant. Just wish the website had correct pool hours listed. The pool hours were shortened significantly in the winter, so I missed out on it, which was one of the main reasons I stayed here

Good stay, not great. lol Pros: Clean, spacious. Cons: If you weren't careful with the Hot water in the sink & shower, you would seriously burn yourself. Major liability there. Water is suppose to be set to never exceed 110 degrees, it was at like 140. Also, the TV in the Living Room did not work. This was a major inconvenience.

Chris at the front desk was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room we had was a good size. I didn't realize a one bedroom wouldn't have a bedroom with a door though. Unfortunately the mattress on the pull out couch was stained heavily and there was no replacement available. The pool was very dirty. Lots of clumps of floating grime, hair and a baby wipe. The floor in the bathroom is peeling back and it was mucky underneath. The ocean and vintage vibe is cute, but definitely room for improvement with cleanliness.

There was a big winter snow storm, i was staying at Tradewinds to be close to work. Staff was very accomodating, i was allowed to check in early - which was very important since i would be getting out of work after 10pm. This may happen again if this winter keeps being so snowy! I am curious if there is some sort of "frequent visitor" status or program for discounts? I am quite sure i will be back, and i recommend this hotel to family and friends. Hopefully next time i can actually spend time off from work in the pool!

The staff was extremely helpful and very genuinely kind. The room was spotless and the bed was very clean and comfortable. I give a A++++ to Trade Winds on the Bay! We had room 207, I apologize that we forgot to leave a tip, I will call as soon as we get home to Vinalhaven, and will pay a tip to whomever cleans our room. We will be returning anytime we need to stay or as we often do, get stuck because of boat and weather issues. A+++++

It's perfect for a getaway weekend or weeklong vacation. Our room was well equipped and spacious. The staff was attentive and helpful. My favorite thing was the inhouse coffee shop. No wandering the streets looking for your morning latte.

I love the fact that they have great communication they go out of their way to contact you once you booked your room to let you know everything this is my go to when I get off of work and I'm too tired to drive home they always let me know where to find my key what time they go with time they close my room is always nice and clean it's like my move okay family member house my distant cousin from another mother I enjoy it cozy room comfortable bed it's perfect
