"The room was updated and fresh. It was roomy and well designed. Everything looked clean, but when I got in the shower after going barefoot in the room for a couple of hours I had A LOT of dirt on the bottoms of my feet. But we couldn't see or feel dirt. Strange. We would go back to this property."

"We had a lovely weekend. We were in Room 1 in the main house. Not a complaint but something to be aware of, this room in particular has a low ceiling, like 7'. It was big enough to move around in comfortably, the AC worked well and is quiet. The easy access to the common area and fridge was nice. It was really nice to sit in the back yard with a glass of wine and listen to a good variety of birds that are quite vocal until the sun sets. The owner is very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend to friends."

"Great place to stay. They really make you feel at home. My room needed a minor fix and they took care of it right away. My wife needed a soda and they found her one immediately. The inn is close to town and easy to get to. Wish our stay had been longer and will absolutely return if given the chance."

"This stop was intended as a stopover on the way up to Bar Harbor. It turned out to be the best accommodation of our trip. BEAUTIFUL vistas outside out room (114) and a spectacular property overlooking the bay. Wish we could have stayed for days. We spent the majority of our time on the extended room (porch) area watching the world go by. Staff was unfailingly friendly and the room itself was cozy and comfortable. A raging 5-star!"
