"The view is phenomenal, we enjoyed every minute. No cooking in the room however there is a fridge and microwave along with plates, glasses, cups, etc. Tranquility is offered here especially this time of year late April. THE STAFF DEFINITELY CARES ABOUT HOSPITALITY! "

"Staff was friendly and attentive. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Some attention to fixing some things are needed. Sliding shower doors need correction, paint touch up and vanity mirror was not functioning. Grateful for the in-room coffee and free bottle of wine. Overall a very good place to stay with restaurant just steps away (try the oysters) and wine tasting room. "

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Cedars. Host was super friendly and breakfast was always delicious. Room was clean. The only thing that I think needs attention was our bathroom. The shower could use a good spray for mildew and the drain cover is not attached to anything. But other than that I would recommend this place."

"What a treat to get to stay in a historic building in Colonial Williamsburg! Our room at the old tavern was very comfortable and we loved taking our morning cup of coffee out to the back porch and then walking through the still streets. In addition, the staff at the Williamsburg Inn went above and beyond for us during our stay. "Great hotel. Clean, safe, great staff. It is less than 10 min from Colonial Williamsburg and near so many other things. Bathroom was clean, shower was great, breakfast was great. Free parking, pet friendly. Just a great hotel and a great experience for us staying here."

"Wonderful stay at a great price! Very cozy with everything you could need in a home away from home. Only complaints were the jacuzzi filter needed cleaning as did the foldout couch mattress, we had to unclog our bathroom sink, and tvs were very small."

"We purchased an extra night so that we could sleep in the hotel room when we arrived after a 10 hour drive through the night with no sleep and 2 kids. Upon arrival the front desk staff (who was so rude and not accommodating at all) told us our reservation had been cancelled. We had to pay for service for both nights even though we didn’t get to stay at the hotel at all. We were then forced to purchase a different hotel across the street so that we could finally sleep.
