"Didn’t fall short of expectations. From the welcoming smile of the hotel front desk staff, the comfort of the room and really lovely ambience of the terrace, to a relaxing time in the spa and indoor swimming pool. Daily room cleaning service offer was such a thoughtful idea I must add. Overall, my wife and I had a good experience at the resort for four days. "

"We arrived by cruise ship and the hotel was literally a block away within sight when we docked in Lisbon. Super clean and well appointed modern apartment with kitchen. Staff were extremely professional and helpful and the whole experience was just a delight. Great location within walking distance of many Lisbon attractions in Alfama section of the city. We would Definitely come back to this apartment hotel the next time we are in Lisbon "

"The property was very central to everything. The courtyard in the front with the Famous Panda wall Artwork was fabulous to enjoy breakfast or drinks. The ocean view from the patio was beautiful, if your room faced the front this was your view. We had the room in the back with a larger sitting area on the first floor. Quieter on the back side. There was complimentary coffee and water 24hrs a day. We would definitely return and stay at Pousada Alfama again. "

"From the time we arrived at the Hotel until we walked out the door everyone was amazing. From the front office helping with restaurants, tours, all the way to a birthday cake delivered to the room. The restaurant was unbelievable as well the service in the Breakfast was fantastic and so pleasing and pleasant every person in this establishment went out of their way to make sure you had wonderful experience. "Authentic and unique. Stunning former single family home now houses 3 rooms for visitors, as well as incredible Turkish restaurant. After staying in a number of larger hotels, we were happy to have had this neighborhood experience. A few things to note - if you arrive on a Tuesday or Saturday, outside and all around the building is a huge flea market, which we also enjoyed, but you will not be able to be dropped off at the door. Also, there is no elevator, guest rooms are on 2nd floor."

"This was, by far, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The walkway was ancient, rundown, and felt downright unsafe. The rooms? Beyond outdated—borderline uninhabitable. To make matters worse, the lift was old, creaky, and felt incredibly unsafe. How this hotel ever received a rating of 8.0 is beyond comprehension. It’s shocking and unacceptable that Hotel.com would allow such a misleading rating to stand. I trusted your platform to guide me toward quality stays, but this was a complete disaster. You seriously let me down this time. Immediate action is needed—both for your customers and your credibility. I’m reconsidering ever using Hotel.com again after this debacle"
