"Shoestrings Backpacker’s Lodge is a nice place to stay for those who do not need luxurious accommodations. I stayed in a room with a private bath and shower. Towels were provided and two single beds were made up. There was a nightstand with a lamp. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. The coffee was great. Same for drinks at the bar. The best part of the Lodge is the swimming pool. Nothing like a dip in the fresh cool water to refresh yourself in the morning or afternoon."

"This was an excellent place to relax in Victoria Falls. We loved the free shuttle to the falls, it was easy to use and reliable. The hotel restaurant was also really good, the free breakfast had a variety of made to order options. Our room was comfortable and the AC worked well."

"The only reason I cannot give this a 10 out of five dollar review is because the Plumbing bedroom needed new fixtures and hot water was very limited. This could be an isolated incident because otherwise the place was magical. Breakfast is good, check-in was easy, everyone was nice. It was super clean in the grounds well-maintained. Location was 10 out of 10. Bar staff excellent."
