"Food could be better but great overall."

"Breakfast is not included along with the room. One needs to purchase the breakfast at the hotel with prices ranging fro $7 usd to $10. Coffee $3. Basic breakfast. No buffet food."

"Five star resort for sure. Great location near the falls with a view of the bridge that borders Zimbabwe and Zambia. Excellent staff by far, so friendly indeed. Themba went above and beyond for me locating directions I needed. Thank you all."

"Fantastic friendly staff, great pools, complex is a bit old and tired but lovely grounds and amenities, and still a lovely hotel. Room servicing was good, turndown service was a bit hit and miss, laundry service was efficient, restaurant was quite good, shuttle was awesome and the drivers were exceptionally accomodating and helpful, golf was great, course is a little rough but the caddies were great. The only thing that irked us was that when we paid cash for a drink at the pool bar, or golf course fees, change was not forthcoming. I don’t mind handing it back as a tip but it shouldn’t be assumed. We had no such issue inside the hotel at the bar. "

"This perfectly located hotel within walking distance of the Victoria Falls National Park has beautiful grounds (with antelope, baboons and, one night, a hippo), warm and helpful staff, delicious food and a beautiful pool. A shuttle was available to take us to its sister hotel (The Palms) to use its small but well equipped gym. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful modernized oasis with a secure courtyard with a swimming pool in the centre of Victoria Falls. The staff and management were very friendly and keen to get feedback. Large rooms with modern fixtures but traditional solid wood furniture. Lacks fridges and tv’s in the regular rooms but management is working on that. Like everything in Victoria Falls, it’s not inexpensive but worth it."

"The staff were the starts of the lodge. Richard at the bar was a true gentleman. The catering staff were simply amazing and always polite. Let's not forget the gardner who kept the place nice and lush and the pool clean. Our son was in the pool everyday. Great fun."
