Hotel Grand A View

"On our arrival front desk made us feel welcome and helpful. I will recommend my friends and family to this hotel anytime, even my next visit will be Grand A View Hotel, our room and the hotel was so clean. I was very impressed with the staff including the gate keeper, bell person and cleaning crew was very nice. Breakfast was great, thank you."

"Overall, the service and food were the highlights. The staff made us feel welcome. They held our bags securely until our room was ready, gave us our wrist bands ahead of time, and served us rum punch while we waited to check in. Everyone we met seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, with a good variety of international and Jamaican dishes. The additional grille and bar are technically available, but they were rarely staffed or busy. Some of that may have been due to rain during part of our stay. The only disappointment was the property showed some wear. The building itself could use a refresh, and some furniture (nightstands, chairs, lamp shades) was worn. The bathroom may have been remodeled, but the shelf above the toilet was clearly missing. The main room's lighting was dim. That said, though, the whole property and the room itself was very clean."

"The location of this property is amazing, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I stayed in a true oceanfront room that offered spectacular views of the surrounding area. After visiting neighboring properties, I can confidently say the ocean view here is absolutely immaculate. Additionally, all the dining options were tasteful, featuring plenty of choices to accommodate all types of diets. Getting around was also seamless, as the resort offers plenty of safe transportation options for guests."

"Felt more quiet and intimate than other all-inclusive resorts we have been to. Great people, food (except ribeye steak at Steak House was overcooked, too thin and fatty. Filet at Kulinariun restaurant was perfectly cooked)"

"I had a lovely stay at Hotel 39 and am so glad I chose to stay here! I especially want to recognize Georgette, who was our server each morning at breakfast. She was such a joy to speak with and consistently provided exceptional customer service. She was warm, welcoming, and truly made our mornings special! The bartender and all the other staff were equally friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was also wonderful! It was always nice returning to a clean room with fresh towels. I also loved the complimentary breakfast and appreciated that the hotel offered massages, wish I had taken advantage of that. There are a few areas for improvement. The rooms got quite cold at night, and I wish warmer bedding, such as a blanket or quilt, had been provided instead of so many decorative pillows. Our mini fridge also didn't get very cold, making it less useful. I was disappointed that the lobby gift shop was closed throughout our entire stay, as I had really looked forward to shopping there. Having a bartender or drink service closer to the pool would also be great, as it was quite a walk to the indoor bar. Despite these minor inconveniences, I had a wonderful experience! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Doctor's Cave Beach and all the restaurants and entertainment along the Hip Strip. I would definitely recommend Hotel 39, especially for its amazing staff and convenient location!"
