"I’ve stayed at many ryokan in different parts of Japan; Yukairou Kikuya is by far the best. Not only does it have flawless service, beautiful rooms and superb food, but it has famously beneficial onsen water in baths that range from in-room to private to a larger “public” one that I nevertheless had all to my self. The baths are often outdoors in private gardens, which enhances the experience. I also had a shiatsu massage that ranks among the best of my life. I can’t recommend Kikuya highly...

"We enjoyed the stay in this hotel very much! The building is great and comfortable. Private hot spring both interior and exterior is available. We have had dinner and breakfast in the hotel with great sea view. Foods are great and fresh. Service is excellent! Highly recommend."

The ocean view from the room and open-air hot spring in the large public bath was truly wonderful. "We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented.
