"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t

"The property was unfortunately not as advertised and the photos felt very misleading. While the bedding, kitchen and bathroom were clean, overall the place felt quite tired and in need of an upgrade. The walls, carpets and couches all needed a proper clean and there were no base covers on the bed. Which are usually a norm in most homes, so expected in a letting.
There were also several maintenance issues including a broken stair rail and a shower that only worked as a handheld attachment....

"Great stay in a very convenient location! The place was comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of four. Everything we needed was easily accessible, which made our stay simple and enjoyable. A great option for families visiting the area!"

"This was a great find to get a suite with a kitchen, luxury bath soaps, replenished coffee bar and shared laundry and gym right in the middle of the Royal Mile. Was the price affordable, probably not if your on a budget, but compared to the other hotels with similar amenities (minus kitchen) on or near the Royal Mile it was amazing! So centrally located and such an upscale gem. If we ever visit Edinburgh again we will be sure to stay here!"
