Our room, on the third floor of the “East building,” felt like a beach cottage, with a simple but lovely layout including a deep tub, small kitchenette, fireplace and view of the beach from the sitting room and the balcony. "My stay was ok. When I got to my room my TV didn't work but the front desk attendant was able to fix it. The mini bar lights up which is annoying when trying to sleep. I couldn't figure how to turn it off and ended up putting a blanket over it. It also made a noise that was distruptive to my sleep. It was a fine hotel but there are better in the area."

"I want to make it clear I enjoyed my stay at the Vurpillat. The room itself was lovely, spacious, and right next to the beach. I did however have a couple qualms about the management of the establishment. When we came to check in there was nobody at the front desk to check us in for the first 30 minutes. I don’t expect hotel gyms to be big or even adequate for a great workout but if there’s 3 people in there, it’s full. The cardio room is better and has around 8 machines. The shower in my room was probably one of the worst showers I’ve ever had in a hotel. Barely any water pressure, I had to literally bend down directly below the shower head to wash properly. ...
