"The property is definitely a bit dated, but very clean! It was a surprise when we arrived, However, what won me over was the kindness of the staff & mgnt, the area is beautiful! I was able to walk 10 min & find delicious Mexican food and Asian food and so many other great amenities! Not to mention the huge mall across the street! The beds were so comfortable!! It was like sleeping on a cloud and after traveling from NC, attending a concert & walking almost 20min to find a cab back to the hotel,this place was great!!"

"Very good staff. Really liked the bar tenders available as you walk in and late night use of the pool and hot tub! This staff was very reasonable and helpful throughout our stay! The front desk ladies were especially kind and allowed us a late checkout on Monday which was very beneficial to our trip. . . BICYCLERS listen up! We are road bicycle riders and loved the easy access to the paths on Redondo that this Hotel provides. The cost of the stay was very reasonable for us 'semi-low baggers' but the importance of the location is that the bicycle paths reach all the way to Venice beach (and I believe up through Malibu, but we did not ride that far) and if you go South through Manhattan Beach and up and around Palos Verdes (and make it through the industrial monsters of Long Beach), you can reconnect to the bike paths almost all the way to San Clemente and further south until the Pendleton military base. GREAT ROAD riding! There are some areas that you have to ride the Pacific Coast Highway, (PCH), but here is where we experienced the great news! We could not believe how clean and safe the PCH is to the south. . . LA has become amazingly clean over the recent years and we were amazed at the safeness and width of the new pavement (Downtown Laguna always a pain but go inland a few blocks and get your climbing work in). Back to the Hotel - for a reasonable price, the customer service we received in our ten days in the area (we were in Laguna for 8 of those) was awesom!"

"It’s off season and the maids are very available to meet our needs. Our room was clean. The air conditioner worked well but was a little noisy. There were some decorative upgrades and some painting has been done since last spring, and the elevator works better. We like how there are dimmer switches in the room which is great for people needing to use bathroom at night. Beds were comfortable and rooms are more spacious than most hotels. The property is clean and well lit at night. There is plenty of room for parking work trucks or high top vans at this hotel."
