"Lesson learned - Don't book a stay with a property that doesn't have a single person on-site or on-call to help. By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "Definitely will stay again in the hotel. Highly recommended!! Note: The room did not have AC which is totally understandable in this hotel. Opening the windows and using the provided fans was enough for me and my family."

"I had a pleasant stay at Hotel du Nord Interlaken. I booked the Deluxe Corner Room West rather than the basic room, and I think that made a big difference. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely balcony and a modern, well-designed bathroom. One nice touch was the complimentary minibar, which was included on arrival. However, it's worth noting that it is only stocked once and isn't refilled during your stay. My main criticism is the price. While the room was very nice, I felt it was somewhat overpriced for what was offered. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I'm not sure the value fully matched the cost."
