"Stunning hotel with amazing views across the lake, floor-to-ceiling windows in our room which was fantastically 1970s design in very high quality. The onsen overlooking the lake was also glorious. "Wonderful stay in this beautiful ryokan with private hot spring bath and a breakfast and dinner that would put Michelin starred restaurants to shame. Everyone was so friendly and the owner popped us in her car unexpectedly to see her favorite cherry blossoms at night. The room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. We loved it!"

"One of the BEST stays of our entire Japan trip! I can't say enough about the view. One word of warning, we were incredibly fortunate to be on a second floor unit. The first floor units looked to be obscured by a wall, completely blocking the view. I don't know how you would be able to determine ahead of time what view you would get, but that would significantly impact your enjoyment. The foot bath and private Onsen made this a relaxing retreat."
