"Julia the front desk conceirge is lovely and so helpful but the hotel needs a renovation and since it’s one of the only hotels close to IU you are stuck."

"We usually stay at the hotels near Kirkwood when we are in Bloomington. Fortunately, that didn’t work out on this trip and we were forced to find somewhere else to stay. The Grant Street Inn is great for many reasons. The room was very spacious and the bed was as comfortable as any hotel. The proximity to our favorites like the Runcible Spoon, the Comedy Attic and shopping along Kirkwood is only a few blocks away. The included breakfast each morning and the fresh cookies every afternoon were also nice touches. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and conversational in the best way. And the price speaks for itself. We will definitely stay here again."

"It was a nice stay.Room was clean, had a fridge and a microwave how not all rooms have a microwave so ask up front. The common areas were nice how ever the bar was closed which was a little disappointing. Would I stay there again.Absolutely."
