"The place was a bit dated. The rooms were plenty large but the chairs were not comfortable. We end bringing a patio chair inside."

"It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"Everything was subpar, I had to hunt down the staff to check in at 5pm. Breakfast was sparse.It was a joke just like the town of Martinsville Indiana is now, the hotel was set off to the side of the left side of the city divided by the interstate, getting there was overly complicated and the sign for the place wasnt tall enough to help guide us to it. The elevator was broken and the ice dispenser had mold by the water outlet. Stay away for your own good, I only slept 3-4 hours that night and the...

"Great budget hotel. Property is aging, but being kept up - very eclectic! Staff is very kind. We've stayed many times with zero issues. Property is adjacent to a beautiful park, but requires being able to descend and climb a fairly big hill. The path is clean and groomed, but requires some degree of athleticism. Continental Breakfast is adequate and a great perk."

"The room was clean. Our room had the built in bunkbeds and that gave us decent privacy from our kids. But the bed rail for the top was so close to the ceiling it was a struggle to get in and out. Parking was great. Staff was wonderful. Not much else to the room. One very small tv and since the town closes down by 5:00-7:00 a tv would be nice since it was obviously a room for kids too."

"The room was not that clean. Drink spills left on the night stand. A straw next to the bed. The bathroom was not clean. The floor and toilet needed extra care. I had to wipe everything down myself. The breakfast area is not maintained. Not cleaned quickly and not a lot of effort to make sure silverware etc is available. Yes it’s in a perfect location in town and the front desk ladies were so so nice but it could have been much cleaner."
