AGRÉABLE SÉJOUR

Je viens à HUÊ depuis 3 années consécutives et c'est dans cet hôtel que je choisis de poser mes valises. À l'écart des grandes rues grouillantes de circulation, mais en même temps à 20 minutes à pied de la Cité Impériale , l'établissement est niché dans une rue calme. Des taxis sont en permanence en attente devant l'hôtel. Le personnel est très agréable, d'une gentillesse toujours égale, propre aux Vietnamiens et toujours disponible pour vous aider à passer un séjour réussi. Les chambres sont très agréables. Jolies, très propres et bien équipées, on s'y sent bien de suite. Le petit déjeuner ( non compris dans le prix des chambres ) se prend tout en haut de l'hôtel et on jouit d'une jolie vue en le dégustant . Ma jolie chambre me coûte à peine 19 euro par nuit. N'hésitez pas à faire un saut au VICTORY HOTEL de HUÊ !

Helpful & friendly staff

Great staff- helpful & cooperative, making bookings for us, arranging pick up & drop off to airport. While it is about 2km from the restaurant area in the city centre, the walk twice a day at least ensured we didn't put on weight after all the delicious food & beverages we consumed. Hotel was comfortable & clean but basic; breakfasts adequate & wifi that was always available (unlike some locations).

I was incredibly satisfied with this hotel. It truly was a comfortable, clean, and beautiful place to relax after touring the ancient imperial city of Hue. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Super god service.havde først fået et værelse lige bag receptionen, der var meget lydt og ikke behageligt. Personalet var meget venlige og OB's på at få mig flyttet. Hjælpsom og behageligt personale, også når det gjalt eksterne ture, tog billet mm. God værdi for pengene. Vil bo der igen.

良い低価格ホテルですが場所が難点

フレンドリーなスタッフ、手ごろな価格といいホテルです。難点はロケーションで、ダウンタウンまで徒歩30分弱かかります。バイタクなどいちいち値段交渉なので面倒です。その代わり値段が安いんだと思います。

The Victory hotel, Hue, Vietnam

We wondered what we had done when the taxi dropped us off as the hotel which is surrounded by new construction. The good news is that the hotel is very clean and tidy, the rooms comfortable and the staff could not have been friendlier or helpful. They very quickly arranged an all day sightseeing tour for a cost of $12 each ( excellent value ). They also arranged transport to our next destination. Everything went off perfectly. The construction work is very well advanced and so did not cause any noise. The hotel is about $2 cab ride to the nice bars and restaurants. Super value for money.

Alors que nous avions réservé une chambre"de luxe",la dame de la réception nous attribua une suite! Très belle chambre avec balcon;écran plat avec réception de TV5 monde,lit très confortable, très bonne salle de bains; extrême propreté; petit déjeuner à la carte très bien; personnel à l'écoute toujours prêt à rendre sevice; comme nous voulions nous rendre en ville,on nous a attribué des bicyclettes; Pour terminer ,je recommanderais cet hôtel;

Victory Hue - max value for money

Maybe there are other hotels where for small amount you get a double, big room with a bathroom, all very clear and helpful staff, friendly without pushing, but this one certainly has it all. Except the smell of humidity in the room (I guess on the upper floors is less), this hotel can serve as a stop over without a doubt.

5 Star service, 1 star price

The only very slight disappointment with this place is that it's not really walking distance to the old town, but that only a short & cheap taxi ride away. Apart from that, I can't imagine why you would want to stay anywhere else! The staff can't do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble, (buying tickets commission free, ringing around to get the best private tour price - then getting it 10% cheaper then the cheapest travel company, then preparing a picnic breakfast because we were leaving early). The room was good, the bed was comfy. The lift/elevator works too. English is quite well spoken by the staff. If we ever make it back to Hue, then we will stay here again. You should too.

Great hotel, especially for the price, a fairly average breakfast also included. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much bother for them. The location was not the best as it was about 10 minutes walk from the main area. However, this probably avoided all the traffic beeping & noise and so was not a problem.

Good hotel at a good price

Very friendly and helpful staff. Free internet. Clean rooms and service. Breakfast a little on the light side. We went to Hue by train and arrived early in the morning -the early check-in was no problem at all. Would stay there again.

Sito nella immedate vicinanze del centro (1 km), ha camere estremamente pulite con arredi nuovi. In reception sono gentilissimi e disponibili per qualsiasi informazione. Fatevi consigliar da loro per un tour di buona qualità e prezzo interessante. Il sorriso e la gentilezza sono nel loro dna. Consigliato vivamente!!

Incrediable service

We had a very pleasant stay at this small hotel. Staff was exstremly helpfull and serviceminded (they helped us get back our camera that we forgot in a taxi). Rooms very clean and had an okay view. However the hotel is at the outskirts of the town, so you will need to take a taxa. We rented an excellent (we've tried a few during our visit and this was the best) motorbike at the hotel.

Out of town but excellent

This hotel is on the fringes of Hue, but as the city is not large and taxis are very cheap that is not a major problem. If you wish to walk to the citadel, it would take about half an hour. The service is excellent : laundry is done cheaply and quickly, excellent and well-priced tours are available, the staff are very friendly, and there are three free and fast internet terminals. The only thing I missed was a safe for my passport in the room, but reception kept it for me reliably. The rooms are superb value for the price. It's not the lap of luxury but it is very good and wonderfully cheap.

Excellent Victory Hotel Hue

Conclusion first: Should your hotel budget be anything upto USD50 per room per night, or if you're not really budget sensitive and more concerned with overall hotel experience, I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent value, friendly approachable service and even for it not been centrally located as that means less noise and pollution. In anycase its about USD2 and a five to 10Mins a/c taxi ride to/from the centre.This is my fifth visit to Vietnam over the last decade or so. First time travelling solo over two weeks from Hanoi to HCMC/Saigon stopping at Hue and Hoi An (If you're travelling from Hue to Danang/Hoi An try using the train -- about USD3 one way Hue to Danang -- for the fantastic views esp. over Hai Van Pass). Experienced quite a variety of V'nam hotels over these visits (plus others elsewhere). Based on that the Victory Hotel Hue suite-room is surely one of the best overall in terms of price/value/service ratio so far.My booked stay was for four nights in a superior room but I received a free upgrade to a suite-room (417) as mentioned; however had I traveled with my family I would still have been more than happy to pay the USD45+ for this very clean spacious a/c suite-room with homey decor, 32in LCD TV, fridge (stocked with sensibly priced beers and soft drinks, including the tasty lemon tea drink!); the room also comes with complimentary simple but sufficient breakfast: coffee/tea, eggs and baguette, or noodles, plus fruit salad and on occasion even a piece of cake; also included in room price are 2 x bottled water daily, and wifi/cabled broadband internet (if travelling with laptop good idea to bring your own network cable as backup, wherever you're staying). Apparently the hotel only started operation in early 2008, so everything seems to reflect that too.The service from the staff was friendly and efficient, and the young proprietor/manager [...] and his wife [...] are no less approachable and helpful eg writing a note for a restaurant visit explaining my food preferences etc. Re meals if you're not bothered to go out, you could get the hotel reception to order a delivery to your room from the restaurant recommended by the hotel. Serves excellent Vietnamese and Western food and good value too, eg very fresh tasty squid grilled, with rice at VND60000/USD3.5. Side note: The hotel provides only free PICK-UP FROM the train or bus station, but not the airport.
