"Staff+Breakfast. Close to pubs clubs & sea. They must change the carpets because it was really dirty & full stains you require a bigger fans as the small fans are not useful, I was hoping that I would go to a hotel with Air condition & I was given a room on the 3rd floor & it was difficult to go up & down as I have arthritis on my left leg. The bedding must be changed as all my cloths were full of white bits of bedding there is slipper but they were used before hand. The room service was really poor on my second day I ask my room to be cleaned they did not change my towels toilet rolls not bleach the toilet for the price I have travelled all over the world I was expecting more!!! I have been very generous because of kind staff & the cook. I won’t be going back to that hotel again."

"Typical English breakfast; if you're expecting anything else, you won't get it. Room had an excellent view towards the beach, though windows could be more clean to enjoy it. A very comfy bed, modern tv, yet a filthy carpet and no water in room available. Helpful and friendly staff."

"Lovely size room with an amazing view so very lucky. Only thing I wish was different was the very small writing desk we had instead of a big table to get ready on. We had a wedding to go to and there was no room for the kettle let alone hair and makeup bags so just a bigger table needed. Other than that all lovely."

Best Western Princes Marine Hotel

"Nice hotel but the car park was limited and a bit tight to access. Also operates on a first come, first served policy but they did allow patrons to park at the front of the building too. Very helpful, attentive and friendly staff from reception to the breakfast staff. Couldn’t do enough for us. Reception staff were very helpful with good local knowledge about buses etc. Bus stops directly outside the hotel which was handy and took us into the heart of the shopping centre from where you can easily find The Lanes and the seafront/pier etc. You can walk to local bars, pubs/restaurants in Hove easily or if you’re used to walking further then Brighton seafront are about an hours stroll. Easy enough to get the bus or an Uber/taxi back. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Great continental buffet choices as well as freshly cooked full English (vegetarian option also) Clean hotel in all areas, based over 5 floors with a huge convenient lift. We stayed in room 51 which had a large bathroom with walk in accessible shower. Water pressure was also very good. Whilst the room had a fan it was extra hot but that was expected during the freaky heatwave whilst we were there. We had a small balcony which was lovely and we just kept the door and window fully opened the whole time. The room cooled enough at night to get a proper nights sleep and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. Nice selection of tea/coffee and the complimentary toiletries were lovely too. Highly recommended."
