Felt much more premium than some of the expensive Spa hotels we’ve stayed at and much better vaue. Will definitely book again when in the area. "

"Room smelled musty. The toilet roll hadn't been topped up before my stay & had to request it was refilled. You need to request a room clean if you require one. Not enough towels provided, had to request more. 1 out of 3 receptionists was friendly, others barely spoke as walked through reception."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay."

"Fabulous stay at stay @FL, wish we’d had more time at the actual venue as the surroundings are fantastic!! Very peaceful and Paul was great! We had a lovely breakfast of poached egg (resident chickens) and salmon/ham! Would defo recommend, also take walking shoes (trainers) and go for a walk!! "

"What a beautiful and serene place Ashdown Park Hotel is. I’ve been waiting a while to stay here and the anticipation was totally fulfilled. The history, the scenery, the rooms and the food; everything is excellent. We came for a one night stay as a gift for my wife’s 40th birthday. The massage treatment she had in the spa was fantastic quality and we spent a long time in the spa just relaxing.
