"There was a plenty of free parking close to the hotel. The hotel could do with some repairs and general tidy up, the overnight price was reasonable so not expecting perfection. Dining options are limited unless you book, we had quite a distance to travel so didn’t want to book and miss the slot. Breakfast service has a good choice but again it’s advisable to book, not quite sure how they cope in the summer months."

"Clean room. Nice and quiet. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. The property is an ex-Premier Inn by looks of it. A little dated and the repair work in room 12 on the bathroom tiles are a bit messy/shabby. But overall a comfortable and pleasant stay. Would recommend and stay again."

"Very easy self check in before arrival making a quick way to our room. Polite and pleasant staff, warm and comfortable surroundings on a freezing day/night. Room was fully equipped with all we needed for our stay and a great breakfast the next morning. We also ate here the night before and enjoyed our meal as we had previous visits. Our 3rd stay here and just as good as the first time. Thank you."

"This hotel is wonderful. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and it was exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated and had excellent amenities. The hotel is beautiful, it’s well maintained and in the process of sone restoration which was so discrete you couldn’t even hear it. The dining room is lovely, the menu is not extensive but everything is done well which more than makes up for it. The bar is also fantastic and the signature cocktails are all worth a try!
