"Lovely staff - so thoughtful and accommodating! I arrived early, coming immediately from a very long & tiring international flight. I was able to check in prior to the normal check in time and have a nice rest that afternoon. I was so grateful for that kind accommodation. I have some food, allergies and they were able to work within those restrictions, and provide delicious fresh flavorful meals. "This is a lovely and peaceful hotel - the room was cleaned to a high standard, the food was really tasty, with a good menu and well presented food. I especially enjoyed the sea bass and there was a huge selection for breakfast. The staff are very polite and obliging - nothing is too much trouble. The grounds will look lovely in summer, but even in the winter they are still nice. I really recommend a stay here."

"Very convenient for travelers flying out of Gatwick North Terminal as departures (and arrivals) are literally an elevator away. Room is spacious and surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel. Beds are comfortable."
