This hotel punches above its weight! Staff works hard to meet guests’ needs. And as a “bonus” , there’s a very nice outdoor swimming pool which is very welcome in Hong Kong’s heat.

Good stay nice location

Had a very pleasant experience form check in to check out. Staff friendly and informative and I really appreciated the late check out. It would be good to have more ala carte items on the menu. Though not in the city centre. Public buses and MTR are less than 5 minutes walk away

Worth for money

Price was good. We booked a family room (having 2 rooms - 1 room with 1 big double bed and 1 with 2 single beds) so plenty of space. It was not cost me more than HKD 1,000 per night for the family room. Staff was very helpful and kind too. The only bad thing is they don't have full stand mirror and the floor a little old style.

the hotel is pretty nice but the flushing system of the toilet is not that good. It takes us a few times to flush things down the toilet. Also the hotel is located in a quite remote area so there aren’t much to do around beside ocean park.

hotel near Wong Chuk Hang MTR station

The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. There are restaurants near the hotel but not many choices and some of them are factory canteens. If you want to get more choice, you have to go Aberdeen area. Ocean Peak is one MTR station away which is convenient I think. You can also take a bus to Stanley market from the bus stop next to hotel at Wong Chuk Hang main exit. I got a room with Mountain View and the room is quite spacious.

Overall good.Good transportation but not much ard.

Overall good stay. Location is a 7. Nothing to eat around the hotel but 2 stops on the MTR and there are tons of choices. Walking to the MTR along industrial buildings isn’t the most pleasant. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Front desk and bell desk staff are super friendly. We did get a Mando-speaking house keeper who refused to observe the “do not disturb” light (Knocking on the door many times and urgently at times) with the light ON at 8:30.

Old hotel

The staff is helpful but the state of the hotel is quite bad . Except for the new name, nothing has been renovated . Toilets are hard to flush, the bathtub looks old, rust in the mirror , very humid blanket , old school AC that is very noisy and the worst : durian smell in the room. The bed is hard and uncomfortable Despite being relatively well located, it definitely needs renovation.
