" Country road unamed , Speeders 50 / 60 mph plus used as a rat run . Not safe for walking out with dog or young child . Property nice but dog has to go too up side of road as no garden . Too fast traffic passing , Settees 2 seaters too small not comfortable and I’m a size 14 , this has been mentioned in comments book a few years ago . "Great location , friendly discreet staff . Good size rooms of a good standard and I overslept and they extended my check out by 1 hour free id charge. Amazing.! I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con. I will not be using them again. I can recommend...

"Lovely clean room, and comfortable bed. The bar area was nice with a lot of choice. We ate at the restaurant- food was lovely but the service was poor. After we had our starter, it took over an hour for our mains to arrive. Nobody came to check on us or apologise for the delay. I had to grab a passing barman to ask for more drinks and after being there an hour and a quarter, chase up our mains. Such a shame because the food was very tasty but I wouldn’t eat there again "

"Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out."
