"Excellent facilities and gorgeous views"

"In general, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The trip was in the beginning of April so really it was between seasons. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There were issues of noise after hours. However, they were responsive to the noise complaints. The cabin (Cabin 7) was clean and comfortable. "I booked a stay just for 1 night and confirmed everything. Got the receipt, cabin number, door code. Etc, early the day of the check in. Drove up there to find out that they double booked our stay and could not accommodate us. We drove 2 hours with 2 babies with us to find out that we can’t stay to a cabin that we wanted. I still appreciated the offers of atleast getting us alternative stay to their property or other properties, but it’s just really inconvenient and waste of time not having what...

"The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner made loud, weird noises all night and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The shower was very dark and awkward, especially for anyone over 5’6”. I’m 5’10” and had to squat to wash my hair. The WiFi was terrible and would barely connect. The location was fabulous though. "

"Room wasn't bad. 2nd floor with a outside patio. However the wooden fence around the patio was partially knocked down. It would be nice to have an iron and ironing board, not a deal breaker. I'd stay there again. Close to downtown."

Great location (walking distance from the village) and easy parking (15+tax per night). They don't have mug cups but paper cups in the room but if you leave a review, they'll give you a mug as a souvenir. :) "

"We were greeted warmly by the staff despite being 4-days on the PCT and carrying some of it with us. 😄 The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure and shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion were high quality. I would absolutely recommend the Vintage Lakeside Inn to other PCT hikers looking for a break in Big Bear."
