"This place is amazing! My experience was great with no issues with my stay. I do wish I had a microwave in my room—others rooms and suites do but would have been a bonus to have. I’m sure they would have accommodated for that. Clean rooms. All the food and drinks were tasty and flavorful. Everything was convenient and in walking distance. Access directly to the beach with all the amenities and cool things to do was a big plus. 5 star rating. Thank you to Jennifer who checked me in and Cristina for taking my professional photos on the beach. I’ll definitely be back by years end!"

"My two day stay at the Sand Pearl was kind of mixed. It is in a great location, the staff and service were very good. Food was just average. In general, the grounds and major traffic areas of the hotel were good, but compared to other places that I've stayed at in Clearwater, St Pete, or other beach front locations, there were a few things that they could do better with. In general, the room itself had a few issues, and comparatively speaking the quality was less than with other hotels. They charged $45 per day for parking, which seemed higher than necessary, but they charged for it, because they can get away with it, so they did. There were other little things, that they could have done better with. I don't mean to be picky, but I was starting my day, and went to go turn on the TV, and the remote didn't work. There was a wrap around the remote indicating it was "cleaned", but it was missing a battery. Just a few examples that I didn't run into at other high end hotels. So, again, kind of picky, but again, comparatively speaking I have stayed at other hotels/resorts that charged a comparable rate, where they did a better job on the "little things". Just in general, it seems like their management should take a step back, and really decide who they want as their primary customer base. Currently, there just seems to be a conflict between whether or not to cater to families with young children, people getting married on site, or other considerations."

"Had 1st floor room near pool. Balcony did not have the best view of the gulf. Mostly the parking lot. Nice pool area with hot tub. Really nice deck with views of the water. Good selection of walkable restaurants nearby. Liquor store and market across the street. Safe area to walk even at night. Hotel next door has lot of music thumping late into the night. Awesome views of the sunsets. Will probably stay here again. "
