It is our personally held opinion that this hotel was unsatisfactory to us and below the quality we had personally expected.
When we arrived there was no toilet paper in our room, and this was an ongoing issue the entire length of our stay.
On multiple occasions we had to ask reception for toilet paper to be sent up, particular because cleaning staff would actively take it away with no replacement during the day. They would also remove any of our additional bottled water we would leave in our room that belonged to us outside of the daily bottle provided by the hotel, which is very important to have available.
It became comical when we were having to hide our additional water bottles and toilet paper in the room from the cleaning staff just to ensure it was still there when we returned from a long day out touring.
Making this more acute was that the Do Not Disturb sign was repeatedly ignored.
We also found (in our personal opinion) the general cleanliness of our room was poor with the towels and bed sheets not smelling or feeling clean to us and one evening we encountered cleaning staff next to our room sitting on the ground in a storage corridor folding towels sitting directly on the corridor floor, which added to our personally held opinion / impression about the cleanliness of our room.
