Hotel Dekat High dive

"The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

"Air conditioning was not working. But luckily it cooled down enough at night to make it bearable. The room and the balcony were great as was the staff. "

"It was a lovely place, with rooms spread between several buildings. A block from the trolly to downtown. Much more relaxed than a large hotel"

"Our first time in Detroit and had a wonderful time. The location of this hotel was excellent! It was walking distance to everything in downtown. There were many great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable. Jay from the front desk checked us in earlier and we were very appreciative. We really liked how big the suite was. We will definitely stay here again."

"Loved my stay in this adorable boutique hotel in downtown Detroit. Gorgeous decor, two lovely bars, a free coffee from the lobby cafe with my stay. Valet was easy, quick and nice."

"The bed was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom was tiny, and has not been updated. There was no shower curtain, there was a half glass piece running from the tub up, the piece was not moveable. There was also moldy grout. The lamp by my bed had electrical tape by the bulb. No water in sight. Pictures were deceiving. We could hear the neighbors talking at 530am, the walls are thin."

"Great location! Clean, well-equipped, open and spacious apartment. We got a premium one. It was a corner apartment, so we enjoyed a lot of natural light. Cookies in the room were an unexpected and tasty treat! It was a bit noisy at night, but the white noise machine took care of that nicely. Smart touch. We plan to return some day. :)"

"Last min stay. My room was very small compared to the picture, musky feel. My curtain kept opening up which made me use my hair clip to close it completely. I had to put a bandaid over the eye hole of the door, if not you could completely see the room inside! I booked it for 2nights, but ended up staying for only 1."

"Your basic No Frills hotel but it was clean andconvenient for the 3 days we stayed there. We were in town for a wedding. Convenient to some local dining and nightlife as well. Staff was very friendly. Nothing fancy about the place but they got the job done"
