"On arrival the greeting was so welcoming. We had also had an upgrade in room. The room spotless and a gorgeous view of the well maintained garden. The breakfast was amazing with both a choice of fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt. Then a coked breakfast with several choices of either full cooked or eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs and bacon, eggs Florentine also vegetarian choices. This was an outstanding experience."

"We had a wonderful overnight 'mother and daughter' stay. Caron is an amazing host and made us feel so welcome. We had a twin room (No 5) towards the top of the house. It was a very spacious room, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed including lovely comfy beds. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard with some great art work. Caron made us feel at home and spent quite a while chatting with us. "Breakfast was excellent but fried eggs were over cooked and not nice. Fried eggs should have a nice soft runny h yolk a minor point which I am sure can be easily sorted"

"Basic room but we had a balcony overlooking the river. We had a private room with our own bathroom. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Can't beat the location for the price. "

"The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...
