The room was clean beside a blood stain on one of the duvets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was an issue as the road was being resurfaced, but the staff did tell us where the best place to park was. The breakfast was excellent, it really set us up for a day in the hills. Overall a good value room for visiting the Lakes.

Ideal location within the town of Keswick, the staff were brilliant and the breakfast was very good, the room was a good size but the bed was very creaky and it could do with a new mattress. There is free parking but its made for smaller cars as its really a tight squeeze. Overall we had a great stay.

The staff were friendly. The room clean and the bed comfortable although the furnishings were old and past their best we felt. The main radiator was not working but a replacement small convector heater had been provided. There was a shower over the large bath. The car park was small and to the rear of the hotel with room for about five cars. Difficult to manoeuvre in and out. We had a pleasant stay undoubtedy the highlight af which was the generous breakfast and friendly efficient service.
