"Beautiful boutique hotel created in an early 19th century mansion, right in the middle of the old walled city. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Very conveniently located 3 minutes from the Bones Chapel and restaurants. No parking on site but free street parking from 2 PM to 9 AM just in front of the hotel or in a lot a short walk away (free all day). "We absolutely loved our stay at Convento Espinheiro. The staff was very amicable and helpful. There were minor maintenance issues in our room, such as the bidet toilet attachment and the shower handles, but everything else was superb. The restaurants are top notch!"

"Beautiful hotel. Welcoming staff and very helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast great with fresh yogurt, fruit, eggs, pastries and breads, and cheeses and ham. The staff parked our car which was great because we were not used to the narrow streets. I would recommend a stay here!"

"Staff was fantastic, had great recommendations and were very knowledgeable! The hostel itself is very picky when it comes to towels and has a lot of hidden fees which is why I listed it as “good”. Didn’t have the opportunity to use the terrace although it seemed great!"
