"Although the property is undergoing renovations, staff apprised in advance so it was not a surprise when we arrived. And! the workmen were not only accommodating but quite genial. The room was well appointed and the amenities were great (love the biscuits!). The complimentary breakfast is really tasty with a lot of choices. Best.hotel.ever!!!"

"Great location and hotel, a relaxing place to stay. The premisses was kept clean and in great condition. The spa facilities was wonderful, it had a course to follow for a full experience. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy. The interior was not the best, not very modern but satisfactory. Also, need to access the room I stayed by stairs from the first floor so might not be ideal for those with walking difficulties. However, it was a great place to stay and the views and golf course are breath-taking!"

"We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the wifi worked."
