"This hotel is 3 star at best. Definately not 5 star as advertised. We stated first 2 nights in Club room & evening canapes were awful. The air conditioning did nit work properly in our room. Had to get front desk to turn on at 3:30 am since our room was so hot. The AC controls in room did not work. We had another booking for 3rd night but diwngraded to at w bed room. First room they gave us the bed was broken & sloping downhill towards head of bed. Shame on this hotel for selling this room with the broken bed. We should get a partial refhnd for all the problems we endured. Awful hotrl"
"The criticism I have is that the accommodation only offers a service every five days. I was staying for six! As a patron with a disability the help in having my room serviced is significant. On arrival the receptionist told me if you needed a service earlier to just let them know, and the cleaner the same, and they would be happy to arrange that. However, three days in when I asked that morning it my room could be serviced the lady at reception was very brusk. She told me service only happens every three days and why I needed it earlier. There was a line of people waiting, and in the end I felt forced to have to tell her I had a disability. She showed no interest in this answer - and said she would look into it but I would have to come back later in the day. However, I was going to a conference so not able to return earlier. I felt completely violated over having to reference my disability in front of other waiting guests and explain why I needed help, and then for my response to be dismissed. Unfortunately when I returned that evening my room had not been serviced. There needs to be some staff training here and a much better level of customer service and care as it marred what would have been an otherwise enjoyable stay."
"Thought the Hotel was very nice.
The customer service and concierge were outstanding. I did not use the pool.
Thought the breakfast was lacking. It’s a buffet but has no eggs prepared. You have to order eggs as part of a more expensive breakfast. The problem comes when you’re in a hurry to catch an early tour or transport and you don’t have time for à la carte. "
