"Disappointed there was no hot tub, you have the coolest rooftop patio in the area but has zero atmosphere because it’s dead (that patio could be the busiest spot in Penticton with friendlier staff, good food and atmosphere), biggest problem we had though was the room was to be two queen beds, but it’s two doubles. Not worth the price we paid from two doubles."

"The price was great. Not clean, bed should be replaced, floors peeling, concrete cracking and wooden stairs rotting. Bacterial stain on shower curtain. Bed rock hard."

"We travel all over the world and have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Chirping Cricket for 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Penticton. Nikki is an amazing host and great cook! I highly recommend her place to you. For 2 couples, the 2 bedroom suite in the basement is perfect for sharing."

"Our room was very clean and we really enjoyed the outdoor area near the pool. Breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausage, toast and many other options. I would stay here again"

"Clean room and property. The beds in our room were soft and had no support. We had a terrible nights sleep both nights. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main roads and highway. We could walk to the lakeshore area within 15 minutes, which was great. Breakfast was okay but not great. You can’t expect much given the mass feeding situation. The exercise room was adequate and we did one workout during our two night stay. Due to the soft bed, we would not stay here again."

"Location cannot be beat! Room was very clean and pretty comfortable! Windows could use blackout blinds or curtains, or, alternatively, allow guests to turn off the very bright outside porch light… staff at hotel was very friendly and accommodating… staff at coffee bar was also very nice and latte and blueberry muffins were so yummy! Thanks for a great stay :)"

"Can you please advise customers of the bar that turns into a night club Saturday nights. They not only kept Us up all night until 2am but the people after it closed where so drunk they made so much noise we were up until 3am. You can literally hear the music pounding even with patio door closed. Not a happy camper since we had to be up Very very early! Room 437 June 20th"

"I liked the bed, location, parking. BUT there was no light housekeeping - the bed was never made up, nor towels replaced. There is no cable tv, not even bottled water. The telephone was so dirty, you didn't want to put it close to the mouth. I had to call the office as the hairdryer quit. I don't know when they came to leave a portable one, as I had to leave for a tournament with wet hair. They saw the used towels on the floor and unmade bed, but it was left for all the (3) days I was there. And...

"While staying there for a week never changed my sheets on bed. Also vacuum wasn't done once in main area. Bed was comfy and AC was nice. I would also say let people use their Netflix on the TV if they like they are all hard locked."
