"Ockenden manor was beautiful and staff very accommodating and friendly. We were also upgraded at check in which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully designed, and bathroom and bedding were clean, although we did find two pieces of rubbish left behind by a previous guest in the room. Hotel guests can access the spa at no additional cost from 2pm on day of check in to 2pm on day of check out and the spa facilities were beautiful. Good vegan and veggie options at breakfast. "We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned.
The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean.
I would highly recommend staying there!"

"The hotel & the grounds are lovely. The rooms aren't fitted with aircon (because it's listed I don't think they're allowed!) so in summer months it's quite warm.
The pool is nice enough. We had breakfast included- there was a good selection & it was all hot!
We also ate dinner at the hotel- that was delicious! The waitress was really friendly."

"Absolute treasure.
Went for a retreat to get some work done. It could not have been more perfect.
Staff super respectful and approachable.
Room was spacious, clean and sound proof.
Breakfast was excellent....loved the banana and peanut smoothie. what a combo.
And after a hard day's work, it was relaxing in the sauna/steam room& jaccuzzi.
Planning on bringing a team of people for group bonding sessions.....with the vast green lands and lots of conference rooms and break out open...
