"We had a great stay here last week! The pub is very close to the Farringdon tube which made getting out and coming home each day that much simpler. Especially when we had our luggage. The room we got was fairly large and had strong air conditioning which was very necessarily in July! Pub stuff was welcoming and very helpful, especially upon our arrival. "Plausible time travel decor - ambience conjures late 18th, early 19th c origin of building (in fact very eclectic but why quibble). Room comfortable and nothing lacking. Was provided with french press coffee maker for coffee service in mornings, nice touch. Plumbing also a whiff of days long gone: claw-foot tub with brass handles and regulator."

Our studio apartment was clean, well-kept with all necessary amenities in a nice building 2 min away from Russell underground station and 2 min from food stores, cafes, and a movie theater, not to mention an 8 min walk to the British Museum.
