"Had a two night stay with friends… the beach is perfect and enjoyed umbrellas and chairs provided by the resort. Bars were on point and attended to me quickly. Room was spacious and well done and clean. The only negative thing I can say is we had thunder feet above us on the 2nd floor."

Vanessa pool side service was excellent!
Beautiful beach could have had more amenities than just towels and umbrellas. For example food and drink service on the beach.
We would not stay at that location again and we would consider other Opal properties. "

Full Story: Look, I’m a reasonable traveler. I’ve stayed in budget motels before, and I know that sometimes nature finds a way indoors. When I walked into my room at the Super 8 in Ellenton after a long day at the beach, and a cockroach decided to take a stroll across the pillow, my family and I were definitely grossed out. This was our third year in a row at the property. Clean room (the King Suite is well worth the spend!), bottled water for the asking, and relaxing breakfasts on the front porch. The pool bar is well staffed and well-stocked.
