"We came to run the marathon for the first time in Chicago and we discovered an oasis in oak park. The location was close to the train to get into the city. The neighborhood was both historic and very walkable. A number of very good restaurants were near by. Host was excellent and very responsive to all our questions. I wish we had more time to explore."

"The COOLEST place to stay. Quiet, has everything you could ever possibly need, and gives you the opportunity to meet new people! Ray has an incredible collection of pretty much everything, so you never get bored of looking around. The staff were all so welcoming, and made us feel taken care of every step of the way. The bed was so comfortable and we had all the space and accommodations we needed! Thank you Ray’s, we hope to see you all again when we’re next in Chicago! "

"Went to a show at the Salt Shed and this was an easy 10 minute walk to the venue. Valet parking is $45 (so $50/55 with tip), but we used Spot Hero to find a nearby garage for $15 overnight parking. The breakfast was amazing; they typically have certified gluten-free options, but were out during our stay. However, our child with celiac was able to eat a yogurt bowl with fruit. Great experience overall!!! Will totally be staying again next time we go to a show at the Salt Shed."
