"The location, the staff, and the hotel were perfect for our last two nights in the U.K. On hindsight, I should have reserved a bigger room as the bed was full size and a little snug for two. We did request to change it and to our surprise we slept pretty well. The breakfast was excellent (lots of food) and the outdoor seating area and inside pub were very nice."

Note that there is no A/C but there was a fan in my room that kept things pleasantly cool. "There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. "
