We visited for a short break to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We received a free upgrade to a beautiful suite. The hotel is stunning, the grounds beautiful.
We made good use of the pool and spa facilities which are great 😊
Breakfast was amazing and evening dinner deicious.
We would definitely love to return.
An excellent hotel for a weekend away. The staff are efficient, friendly, and communicative. The building and grounds are atmospheric and striking. The food is high quality, especially dinner in the main restaurant. Both bars are well run and the staff are flexible.
The main building was so beautiful and grand, it felt soecial just being there. Staff were very nice as well, and the chefs are doing a phenomenal job with the food, absolutely delicious.
We had lovely stay. Enjoy the room and general facilities of the hotel. Grounds are beautiful. But ive been charged different price than what i booked on
Great stay, we had a very nice pizza in the atrium bar and the cocktails were also nice.
Breakfast was a buffet but lots of choice and good quality ingredients.
Enjoyed an hour in the little pool, steam and sauna.
A beautiful hotel with clean, high quality facilities, friendly staff & well kept grounds. The bedroom was very spacious. The food was delicious & well presented. Parking was easy & our stay was lovely.
Hotel staff very welcoming and check in was excellent very quick with Grace on front desk.
Very clean and tidy rooms with plenty of tea and coffees.
Powerful shower which is good to have.
Delicious Gigantic fish and chips!
Lovely grounds to walk in and great venue for weddings.
Stayed here before can highly recommend.
Plenty of Free parking
I don’t usually do reviews but this hotel is stunning. From the beautiful grounds to the premium quality & cleanliness of the rooms, everything was fabulous. I stay in Bristol & Gloucester quite regularly for work purposes & will be using this as a base camp for both. Outstanding!
Beautiful grounds! Stay in the manor house as the courtyard garden rooms are the old servants quarters. Breakfast was good. You can’t beat the atmosphere.
The building and grounds is steeped in history and is absolutely beautiful. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful in so many ways I can't even begin to tell you as there wouldn't be enough room here! We were upgraded as it was my husbands 40th birthday, which was a lovely surprise, and there was a birthday card and big bar of chocolate waiting in our room (which had premium brands of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits etc etc). We had the pool and sauna etc to ourselves on the first use and was quiet on the second and was a really lovely way to relax after a day exploring the Cotswolds. Dinner in the main restaurant and atrium bar was delicious (dined in restaurant twice and atrium once). A thoroughly enjoyable break and birthday celebration for my husband who was blown away by the whole thing (it was kept a secret til the moment we pulled up, which certainly gave the wow factor I had hoped for!)
