"Upon arrival we were able to check in right away and received a welcome drink. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated in a moody mid century modern motif. Our room was on floor 2 which our patio opened to the stunning courtyard. The room is well appointed and the high end kitchen was such a useful amenity to have. "Stay was excellent. Person at check in was a little less than welcoming. She said she had never heard of Expedia VIP perks, and was definitely not interested in finding out anything about it. Rest of the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.
Property is beautiful, loved the location! Ate lunch in the rooftop restaurant, very good.
We have been to Charleston many, many times. This was our 1st stay at The Restoration. We will definitely come back. "

"I had a great experience with the Check-in Charleston team and their 2 bedroom unit in Quarters on King. They, particularly Emily, couldn’t have been more prompt, helpful or friendly. "They’re doing a lot of construction, which I understand, the staff was not very friendly when I asked about getting a disabled veterans discount. She said we had already received a discount and that all it explanation she gave also the beds were not very good. The mattress kept sliding!!! we were gone all day to citadel and no one checked our room for trash or towels! "
