"Awesome property! Beautiful grounds. Staff is excellent, courteous and helpful. Onsite owners are a breath of fresh air. Food is high quality and delicious. Have stayed 2 years in a row and will return. The rooms are large and accommodating with private balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool and striking green scenery. I found nothing I wanted or needed that wasn’t there. Outstanding!"

"Second time staying here and it was just as good as the first. The service is impeccable and they really take care of their guests and the property. The tiniest bug was that last time I rented an apartment that included a kettle for heating water. This time there wasn't one in the room as they're only in the apartments and not the other rooms. The staff found one for me so no issue at all really, just to let you know if it matters. "

"This review is for my return visit to the Gambia. After such a great experience during my first visit in this clean, comfortable hotel with great staff and every room with a stunning ocean view, my choice as to where to stay in second trip was made very easy. Highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Kombo Beach Resort! The views are absolutely stunning, waking up to the ocean just steps away was such a dream. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks for offering to extend our checkout time when our flight got delayed. "A Gem; construction at Kalimba so they rebooked us at the adjacent Kamara resort. Great property: aircon nice and cold, good breakfast offering, tasty food at restaurant. Front desk staff helped in arranging a driver to visit monkey park, crocodile pools, city tour, and car to airport. Would love to go back. Only nit I have is provided toiletries were skimpy"

"This property has all the comforts of home plus a ocean view. The water and toilet work, the TV and electricity works. The fan and A.C. work there is hot water. You can sleep with the balcony door open and be safe. A small down hill walk to the beach with a organic small farm on the way. Staff are helpful and friendly 😊. Maybe a 10 minute ride from Senegambia. I will return again and again. "
