"This lodge is one of the best around Yosemite area. We loved the 2-bedroom cabin we stayed in which is nested in a wooded meadow away from the main reception building. Very beautiful surroundings and very quiet - a truly wonderful escape. We were here only for one night and didn't have the opportunity to enjoy all the great amenities - heated pool, jacuzzi, horseback riding, etc. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The indoor/outdoor fireplace in the main bedroom is amazing! In fact, the place was so comfortable that we spent virtually the entire stay in the cabin! We were able to try the restaurant on-site for dinner. That was, perhaps the only disappointing thing about the lodge - we were surprised by the restaurant menu with minimal options for food and they weren't that appetizing. Instead, we ordered food on the tavern menu which was okay. We were expecting a larger selection and tastier fare given the lodge's luxury caliper. The staff were super helpful, warm and friendly. I do recommend reviewing the invoice when checking out to ensure no additional charges end up on the bill! :(We were initially overcharged for an early check in fee, and dog fee) . That said, it was overall a great stay!"
