"This property is extremely dated and poorly maintained. Two nights in a row, the heating in our room failed, and temperatures dropped below 50 degrees both nights. We notified both times. The first night, they didn’t even have extra blankets available, offering us extra sheets and a portable heater instead. When plugged in, the portable heater emitted a terrible smell.
Although management promised the issue would be resolved after the first night and send an engineer to fix it. The engineer...

"This hotel is in the best location! Close to the 9/11 Memorial Museum and the Oculus Store. The front desk agents were nice and maintenance. The room and bathroom were super clean!! The only thing annoying was the next-door guests being loud and slamming the door but other than that, a wonderful experience! Definitely coming back!"

"One of the worst experience. How on earth they only provide two bottles of water for my entire 4 nights stay? The woman in the reception was rude and I feel she’s being racist. The Asian woman was polite but another woman in white shirt are so rude. The old man was good manner. I still cannot accept a hotel policy as she claimed only provide two bottles of water during first day of checked in !! Bizarre. My remaining of 7 nights I moved to Westin Hotel Times Square. Perfect place for me."

"It was a pleasant surprise to stay at this property. Yes, the rooms are quite small, but the Queen suite was completely acceptable if all you need is a place to crash each night and have a private (clean and fully functional) washroom. The lobby and bar are hip and active. I would definitely stay at POD again."

"very noisy. OVERALL clean and great but if you are a light sleeper you will not sleep. My wife did not sleep much due to the city traffic not being cancelled out by the room. I feel there needs to be noise reduction in this hotel like others we have stayed at in the area. Especially since we paid for a room with a view but sacrificed size of the room which was not mentioned prior to booking. A friend stayed in another non view room and the room was actually 30% larger and way less noise for 75%...

"Great customer service. Bar tender is a plus. The pull out couch left us wanting, might as well have been plywood. Would be better off with an air mattress. However, convenient location for the purposes of our trip"

"We were expecting a much better room. The room seems outdated, the bedding was really uncomfortable and not cozy. Pillows were uncomfortable and we have to ask for more pillows. The sofa bed where my son slept, was dirty and we had to ask for additional clean sheets and blankets.
The hallways looked like a hospital and just felt not cozy at all.
The staff is amazing and very friendly."

"Fourth time at this hotel. Fully refurbished since our last visit. We had a club room with access to the lounge which was fab. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Only reason I’ve said good instead of excellent was the street sellers close proximity to the hotel front doors. This certainly has spread along the road and at times I found it very intimidating. It’s not a great look for the hotel. It may put me off returning to this hotel in this location which is a shame."
