"The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. We ate lunch in the clubhouse which was nice. The spa area was well presented and clean. Definitely worth a visit. "The hotel was nice but a little tired in places. Elizabeth on reception was absoltuely amazing, really went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and to cater to our requests. Food in the restaurant was good but unfortunately not very hot, we all had to send it back. Staff were very apologetic and sorted it out so all ok in thw end "

"This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
